January. Midwinter. It’s cold, Spring feels a way off, and cosy inside is never more important than it is right now. But there are little gems along the way – and one of them is Seville Oranges and homemade marmalade.
All you need is a free Sunday afternoon, some clean jars (and lids), a solid and big pan (a preserving pan if you have one) and just three ingredients. You’ll then get to fill your kitchen and beyond with the homely scent of oranges bubbling away on the hob.
There are lots of recipes out there. This one is very straight forward and produces a bright and zesty marmalade.
